I am a Graduate of the Sydney College of Homeopathic Medicine (Adv Dip Hom), a member of the Australian Homeopathic Association (AHA) and registered with the Australian Register of Homeopaths (AROH). I also hold an Honours Science Degree with a Psychology major (B Sc (Hons)).
I initially trained as a psychologist and worked for many years with children and community groups using drama as a tool for self-expression and discovery. I taught for a time in the Drama Department at the University of Newcastle.
I was drawn to study homeopathy after I and my family had success with homeopathic treatment for a variety of complaints. Homeopathy appealed to my interest in psychology, because, in classical homeopathy, the emotional and mental state of the patient is often pivotal in making a prescription.
I have successfully supported people suffering from conditions such as depression, anxiety, and hyperactivity in children, and also many chronic health complaints such as headache, sinusitis and skin conditions. I particularly enjoy working with children.
I particularly enjoys educating the community about homeopathy. I teach a ‘Homeopathy at Home’ course which is an introduction to homeopathy, and a guide for using homeopathy in first aid situations and for treating minor ailments. I also have developed and teach ‘Homeopathy for Childbirth’ for doulas, and am a contract academic with Endeavour College of Natural Health.
I also has a strong love of and commitment to meditation, and have been a meditation teacher for many years.
