The Homeopathic Consultation

My aim, as a homeopath, is to match a homeopathic medicine to your unique symptoms at the deepest possible level.

The initial consultation can last up to one and a half hours. I gather information about your presenting complaint, and also take a detailed medical and personal history. Emotional and environmental stresses are often an important consideration.

I may not give you a homeopathic medicine at the time of  consultation if I need time to reflect on your case. You can collect the medicine at a later date or I can mail it to you.

Follow up consultations, to assess progress and decide on further treatment, usually last around one hour and occur at four to six week intervals.

If you are bringing a young child, especially one who has a lot of energy, it can work best if you bring another adult with you. After I have assessed and interacted with the child, the other carer can take the child for a walk, while we have a chance to discuss their condition in more detail.
